My Bongo's engine warning light (yellow dashboard light) has come on, but don't know how to diagnose what the problem might be. It's a 2003 2-litre petrol.

I wanted to try reading a code from the OBD port like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ObKQSx0P7ns&t=29s , or https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TRIpM1awD8s (clearer video for an MX5) but my connector has no pin for the FEN (Fault code ENgine) port.
Is there a way to work out what the light is trying to tell me? If I took it to a garage, how would they diagnose it?

From what I've read, I'd guess is the oxygen sensor but don't want to spend a lot of money replacing that if it's not the problem.

Any thoughts or guidance appreciated
