Hi,

I've recently had a service and MOT on my 1997 Diesel Bongo and they mentioned that there was oil around the Intercooler which they said was probably old oil.

I'm a bit concerned if the turbo is on its way out as I've had the Bongo for over 2 years and not had any work done on the turbo or can see that any work was done on the turbo previously.

Should I be concerned? What could I easily check? It drives fine and to my ear sounds "normal".

Cheers,
Chris.

Often the big pipes go hard and allow oil out over the bracket area . New pipes and clips will sort it . Not a turbo fault more likely EGR working normally . Putting crap in your induction system

That sounds more pleasing. Once the snow has gone I'll try and take a closer look to see which pipes need replacing.

Thanks.
