I'm thinking of adding some engine monitoring (pressure/temperature guages) and came across some oil filter sandwich adaptors, which for the online prices quoted, less than 50 quid, seems a good buy.

I'm looking at something like this < tinyurl.com/ycnmf3t7 > or < tinyurl.com/yawnfxuy >

They're quoted to be metric but has anyone fitted something similar? I prefer to 'Buy British' if possible. :)

Any info on sizes/threads/mounting gratefully received.

Regards,

Peter

I fitted something similar to a Honda track car a few years ago. From memory it was a Mocal unit from Demon Tweeks. I think they do various fitments to suit each manufacturer but they're usually helpful if you contact them. You need to make sure there's enough clearance around the filter to fit the adaptor and pipework but I think the bongo is pretty good for that.

Thanks for the reply.

I've looked at the "Demon" site. They've got some interesting stuff on there. I'll contact them, when I decide what I want to do,

Thanks again,

Peter
