Question New to Bongos

My partner and I recently bought a 1996 Bongo Friendee Diesel AT ... and we're learning lots about it as we prepare for a trip to France.

Dealt with a couple oil leaks and had the timing belt changed. Got some rust on the rear end of the main sills to deal with and the inevitible rusty rear wheel arch which are on the agenda after the return from the trip.

Don't have a piccie of it available yet.

Had a well known Bongo repair facility check it over and they seem to think we got a reasonable deal! Always good. I'm fairly technically minded ... retired computer systems engineer (how to use computers to drive things like power plants for example) But reaching the point where there are some things you just have to pay to have done :-)

We'd like to use it to go out and about for mostly short trips ... but the occasional adventure.

Gather that we may have limitations getting into certain cities in Europe ... Diesel and age going against it getting a French Crit'Air sticker! Oh well!
