Can the electric folding mirrors be moved manually as well? The reason I am asking is one of my mirrors failed to open. I tried it a couple of times (the switch) without success so I adjusted it manually. Sometime later I parked up and both mirrors were working again. So I was just wondering if it is ok to adjust the mirrors by hand ?

Hiya sorry for delay in response, the drivers mirror on one of my bongo's has the same issue i goes in ok but going out i have to slightly lift the mirror, otherwise it clicks and doesn't move! it's been like this for a couple of years and it's fine.

Thanks for the reply. The problem was traced to the cables between door and A pillar. I have been told it is not uncommon to get problems in this area. I cut out and replaced some of the cables. Looking for the photo of damage, hopefully post a little later.
